The packets can be re-dried and appear to be infinitely re-usable. It may be quicker than wicking, when you're trying to
finish-off an egg.

Take any absorbent tissue source, and twist a piece into a wick. Rotate or twist the wick point into the hole in the base of the egg.
I refresh the wick, as it gets wet and needs changing.
